Kerr commits to Quins - hope he kicks on as seems to have
dropped back a bit lately

If there's anything in the rumours of Benson moving on at the
end of his next contract, I can see Kerr moving inside a
position or two to FH - I'm not sure he has the bulk needed for
12 (although, admittedly, he could pile it on) or the pace
required for 13. His distribution skills and boot make me think
he'd just be better suited to 10 if he can develop all the game
control, etc.

I'm fairly sure Kerr was a 10 at age grade/school level, and
only played 12 for the U18s and beyond because Bellamy was
preferred at 10 and Kerr was too good to leave out.

This is a little strange.
It says that it is his first senior contract at the club.
But he was actually listed in the senior squad last September.

Maybe it's just the semantics of having to name the squad
players for certain competitions.

The Benson renewal story....doesnt mention time frame does it?
Im guessing its unlikely but could have been just a year (so ooc

Exactly why I said "at the end of his contract". For what it's
worth, I would love Benson to stay and already see him as our #2
behind Marcus - I hope we sign Jamie up long term and cut JEv,
who is really not good enough.

I feel really sorry for these players as these releases are
usually for bigger signings but we clearly have none so we’re
being given the one that are usually consigned to the end of
season batch release.

people on this board worrying he might go and not realising he's
recently renewed?
