French sport directors love a slow-mo montage of stuff that
shows you nothing at all and avoid at all costs any angles that
may show you French players doing anything wrong - at least some
things never change.
The scrum adverts didn’t bother me at all, who wants to watch a
scrum reset? Not sure what the fuss is about other than old men
(of which I’m one) love to complain that everything is getting
worse and every tiny change is the death of everything. It fills
the time between retirement and death I suppose.

Roebuck is the best player for the position, but I am concerned
that at the beginning of the week they'd decided he needed more
time for recovery and now supposedly he doesn't. I hope they're
not gambling too much, because this Wales, not France, and a
number of wingers could have handled it.

Rumours were that Buck was touch and go for this game. I think
I've heard before that the unwritten rule for England is that if
you aren't fit for full training on Tuesday, you're not
considered for Saturday.
I can therefore imagine that he was 90% there on Tuesday so
wasn't considered but is now fully ready.
