What I think is more concerning is the introduction of in-play
adverts (2 maximum, I believe) for tonight's match. I hope OfCom
are inundated afterwards.

I think its 1 x 20second advert in each half utilising a split
screen.

Being pragmatic, I get why people are frustrated about the
advertisements at break in plays, with worry its turning into
some NFL style showpiece...but if we want to ensure 6n stays on
free to air its probably a necessary evil.

Not sure what people can complain about, ITV had this in their
bid from the start, will be interesting to see how bad the
coverage is, as ITV are stuck in the early 1990's from a
technical perspective, if you have a decent TV and sound system,
it looks and sounds not that good.
I would rather pay for coverage than have ITV. compare some of
the shared TNT games and even with the same braoadcast feed TNT
is much better.

Rugby already makes the provision for a short water break after
20 minutes. (Basically, this is needed for playing games in
extremely hot places like the south of France.)
I am surprised that they don't implement this as standard in
international games and use it for a quick commercial break.

Don't think this would be well received in the games it wouldn't
be needed for in the 6 nations when its crappy weather, as I
imagine it would be frustrating if you have any kind of upper
hand/fluidity only to lose momentum. Just my take

ITV Coverage is rubbish enough as it is, without added adverts.
