Fine with him joining the staff but as the head man, no. This
       would be hugely underwhelming.

My instinct is to say no thanks.

Not what’s needed. This would be a “do we ever learn” type of
       appointment.

I don’t doubt he is good coach and has been in good environments
to learn, enjoyed success with EnglandU20s. I just don’t know if
he is the name to inject a change of direction.
If he is to be the man I’d like to see a decent head coach named
and a couple of signings that make me sit up and reconsider not
       renewing my STs.

this would be so typically quins and desperately underwhelming.

Hang on he’s done really well with the U20’s as a coach, don’t
       get all the negativity

It’s an entirely different type of role to the u20s. No real
experience as top man. Was previously here. Just seems
       regressive.

He coached them to a win in 2024 U20 world championship, but
they were a poor 6th last year, and managed to lose in the U20
6N to Wales, so considering the available talent, not that
special result wise, and it is a very different job from a club.
And he was at Quins for a long time before, so not the new broom
that we need in the top job, and the new DoR should be allowed
       to pick his own coaches.
