Great pro and servant of the club. Never really had any
limelight but can't think of him having a terrible game. It's
already clearly time for a young'un to step into his squad role
and he can enjoy recovering!

just read it. I'm not convinced this means he is retiring, just
planning for eventual retirement.
here's the full post:
"Having recently made my 100th appearance for Harlequins, I have
reflected on my career and look back with gratitude and pride.
Naturally, as I grow older and somewhat wiser, I have given a
lot of thought as to what the next chapter looks like whenever
my career in professional rugby comes to an end. With the skills
I have developed over 10 years in elite level sports, I believe
I would be an asset to the Insurance industry, as well the
broader financial services sector. I’m interested in speaking to
anyone that would be open to sitting and having a chat about
their role/industry or providing me with some work experience in
these sectors (or any other areas that you may feel are
worthwhile). Please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I look
forward to hearing from you! Thank you."
He even says "whenever my career in professional rugby comes to
and end". Could be off, but this isn't definite.

professional back-row forward'.

Good luck to him, always plays out of skin and was great in the
Bristanbul game, which will be my abiding memory of him....
