I like Chis a lot, and think he's a fantastic player when he
gets on the pitch. He had a bad injury last season whilst on a
really good run of form. A month or so back he had a half (?) in
a friendly and looked very good. The following week he was
reported as injured and has been ever since.
In the same friendly, Waghorn had a half (?), after coming back
from injury, and played well. Again, the following week he was
reported as injured. He's been back since, but less than a half,
and again reported as injured.
Neither players were injured at the end of appearances, so one
assumes they've had training ground injuries. Or they're not
picked for another reason, as when I say they're reported as
injured, they're listed as not available.
It would be good if we had some kind of information on injureies
- the nature, status, likely return. I can't believe this is
hyper sensitive information.

It’s also possible that the time on the pitch uncovered some gap
in rehab that wasn’t immediately apparent. Ms Poorfour Maj has
been going through that - she managed two games back from injury
but then her physios realised that the shoulder still wasn’t
fully stable and needed further rehab to prevent recurrence.

I'm a little disappointed that Benson isn't getting more game
time

We have him and two international 10s, he's going to have to
make do with Prem Cup and the occasional senior match when one
of those two isn't available.

Until we lose him like Jibs, for similar reasons...

Nah, not comparable. Jibulu should've been starting. Benson is
not obviously better than the second choice, but has still had
more starts this season than Jibulu was given in his entire
Quins career.

I'd probably more compare it to Trenholm.
Definitely good enough to be starting or in a 23 in the Prem.
Trenholm had serious competition ahead of him in all 3 back row
slots.
Benson has the same at 10 and midfield spots.
Jibulu was our best hooker and would be our best hooker this
year too.

Northampton tried to sign Benson last season but he opted for a
new contract at Quins

I thought Benson might continue to get more game time too, on
the working assumption that Jev would be off in the summer. If
he's competing to be Wales' first-choice, you'd question how
long he can play second fiddle behind Marcus. But the state of
Welsh rugby must make a return to the regions unattractive, so
he might be with us for a while longer. Be interesting to see
how it unfolds.
