Team News: One change for Tigers test
Harlequins have made one change to the starting XV that will
take on Leicester Tigers in-front of a sold-out Stoop on
       Saturday (24 January, KO 15:05).
Jason Gilmore has opted for consistency in selection and
rewarded the squad that toppled La Rochelle on French soil last
weekend to claim home Round of 16 tie in the Investec Champions
       Cup.
Quins' only change comes in the pack, specifically in the row as
Kieran Treadwell returns to the engine room.
In the backline, Cadan Murley is set to make his 100th Gallagher
PREM appearance in the Quarters - the speedster has amassed 55
tries in 99 league appearances to date.
Simon Kerrod, Jack Walker and Pedro Delgado remain on front row
duty after a dominant scrummaging performance last weekend.
Guido Petti Pagadizábal backs them up in the second row
       alongside Treadwell.
Chandler Cunningham-South, Jack Kenningham and captain, Alex
Dombrandt resume their destructive back row duties.
Lucas Friday and Marcus Smith continue their half back
partnership, with Bryn Bradley and Luke Northmore lining up in
       the midfield once more.
Nick David and Tyrone Green accompany Murley in the backfield
for the visit of the Tigers.
Gilmore's choice of a six-two split of replacements remains with
Will Hobson, Sam Riley and Harry Williams providing front row
       cover.
Elliot Williams returns to the matchday squad with back row Seb
Driscoll set to make his Gallagher PREM debut when introduced at
       The Stoop.
Tom Lawday completes Quins' forwards options as Max Green and
Jarrod Evans provide cover to the backline.

I like that squad. I only hope we don't miss the ballast of
Launchbury, but it's a very mobile pack and the boys should be
high on confidence. Nice to see yet another youngster make his
debut. This all smacks of sensible, forward thinking. Maybe
there really is a plan in place now?
In the absence of any relegation fears, I'd like the boys to
relax, cut loose and enjoy their rugby, with the youngsters
getting valuable experience. A few wins would also be nice!
As for Cadan - 100 games is no man feat, but 55 tries in 99 is
       pretty phenomenal!

Good to see we're rewarding decent performances with consistency
       in selection.
Wonder if Zach Carr has been rotated or is on the injured list.
He's done well of wait, so would've liked to have seen him
       involved again.

       Hanro's back for Quins challenge
Hanro Liebenberg returns to the Tigers XV for the first time
since late November ahead of the visit to Harlequins in the
       Gallagher PREM.
The talismanic South African is joined by Welshman Tommy Reffell
and Emeka Ilione in an exciting, abrasive back row.
Also returning from injury are Australian internationals James
O’Connor and Izaia Perese - with the latter in line to earn his
20-game club tie from the bench in the 23 jersey.
The front five of the pack shows only one change from the last
Gallagher PREM game, a victory against Saracens at Mattioli
Woods Welford Road on January 4. Charlie Clare replaces Jamie
       Blamire.
The backline features many of those who played in the close
defeat in Cape Town against the DHL Stormers. Jack van
Poortvliet and Freddie Steward return at scrum half and full
back respectively, while Orlando Bailey comes in to start
       alongside Will Wand.
Geoff Parling said, “It’s great to welcome back Hanro, JOC and
Izzy into the match day 23. All three offer valuable experience
and quality that will be important against a Quins side on a
high after their victory in La Rochelle”.
“It’s important we finish this block working and fighting for
each other and showing what it means to pull on the shirt.”
       Leicester Tigers (appearances)

No real need to change the side too much.Don't think David
keeping Isgro+Cleaves out of the XV was on manys bingo list at
the start of the season. Can't help but feel anyone new coming
in might see both as expendable

Good to see consistency and players being rewarded for form. I
think this is the best team we can put out with the injuries we
have. Tigers will be a challenge and have clearly been better
this season, but I am hopeful we've turned enough of a corner to
have a decent chance of beating them.

I imagine if Turner is leaving it’s why Riley is the preferred
bench option. A shame we haven’t seen much of Turner as he’s
       very dynamic.
Good that the young players are getting exposure as the PREM has
       gone.
I can’t see Chisholm being retained even though he’s not that
old as his injury record is just appalling and lots of young
       back rows coming through.
