Over the recent years I have travelled to Bordeaux, La Rochelle,
Toulon, Toulouse, Dublin, Belfast, Munster, Edinburgh, Paris,
Cardiff and some odd backwater ground in Italy to watch the team
play in the European competitions. Paying under £70 to sit in
my own seat amongst friends is an absolute bargain. If the game
is as entertaining/nail biting as the ones against Stade (NEvs
drop goal in the pouring rain) or Leinster (blood substitution)
it will be memorable and £70 very well spent.
At the start of every new season I hope the team do well in all
competitions. I anticipate that getting into the knockout
stages will bring extra costs - home or away. I certainly don't
begrudge paying 'the going rate' for my seat, knowing that the
team's ambition is to always play a home game - for the support
they get and the benefit to the club.

£70 is objectively a lot of money but it is intended to be the
premier event and unfortunately everything is more expensive
than it should be these days.

I don't know if the club volunteered for this date/time, but it
feels like it's the short straw for home and away supporters and
also for the club - lower attendance, far fewer people staying
in the bars after the game.

I don't begrudge the club not including this in the Season
Ticket. That's always been the case for knockout fixtures. I'd
like to think they didn't request/push for this slot. Sadly,
given the late kick-off, even driving it would be between
12:30am and 1am before I got home, so I'm going to pass.

We get tickets for the red ball festival of cricket and County
Champ Games are £25 a pop or £9 after Tea. Also, discounts on
       Womens T20I's at Taunton.

Most of the white ball stuff is sold out or well attended. Red
Ball not so much these days.

The product isn't just Quins though. It's the opposition too.
With all due respect to Championship teams, the likes of Ealing
and Bedford won't have the same draw/value as Leicester or
       Gloucester.
As for cricket... each to is own, but I wouldn't spend my cash
on watching a load of blokes in pyjamas, taking it in turns to
rub the ball rather suspiciously on their groin area, for a
whole day, only to find it's a draw because they ran out of
time. And the seats must be pretty poor if the balls turn white
       [emoji15]
But I'm sure the sandwiches are good [emoji6] [emoji1]

Opponents you say? Perhaps you should pop in to watch SCCC play
Glamorgan or Gloucestershire...if you can get a ticket mind.

I'm surprised they charge that much for the County Championship.
Surrey do a County Membership that includes red ball, white ball
and Hundred fixtures (all at the Oval only) for £268.
