He's one of the names I like to see down as ref. He's clear,
confident and deals with players firmly but fairly. I just like
his whole manner of reffing and it has nothing to do with the
Harlequins connection.

He's really progressing well and he's part of their fast-track
scheme. I was at an event where there were a couple of v high
profile refs recently and they were very complimentary when I
asked about him.
