Players player of the year 2025 (I believe) Sacha
Feinberg-Mngomezulu is missing. He can be an exceptional player.
The listed #10 has played there before, but I don't recognise
the #9. However the half-back pairing for Quins looks really
interesting.
Stormers starting front 3 are all different from their last URC
match v Bulls. In fact there's a fair bit of rotation all round.
I'm expecting a lot of tries here, but the scrum battles will
be interesting.
Despite it all, I'm tending towards Quins for the win.

Yeah it's a Stormers team that's very rotated.
V few of the players who played in their wins v the Lions or La
Rochelle. Mathee at 10 is fine but didn't light it up v the
Lions from memory. Good goal kicker but didn't do much in open
play. Willemse and Gelant will be their catalysts in the backs.
The pack is similarly missing some key players.
Kind of them to get our hopes up!

I’d hope Cleaves and Isgro are spending a lot of time on the
tackle bags rather than worrying about playing at the moment.

poor this season. Cleaves is a bit indifferent, but with a 6/2
split the backs position has to have someone in a multi cover
role. For what it's worth, I'd have started Cleaves over David.

In fairness for a full blown international wing Isgro baffles
me, doesn’t seem particularly quick, looks for contact not
space, has lost his kick chase usp, and let’s not call any of
his attempts a tackle. He is also has a footballers mentality to
getting knocks (drops to the floor, looks half dead, then runs
off like nothing happened).
I am finding it hard to like the bloke (as a player, never met
him in person).

He started well last season, and has held his own for Argentina,
but he’s still very new to 15s…however if this season was purely
what you’d base him off you wouldn’t be banging down doors to
keep him. I think maybe he’s become like many disconnected with
things so before I go full on night of the long knives I’ll
await his response to any serious changes at the club.

This isn’t knives out it’s an honest reflection of performances
for Quins.
If he can turn it around he’d have my support but at the moment
he is 💯 not the player we expected or need. (Think be
fair a few fit that billing)

He’ll have my support for a good while yet - wasn’t that long
ago since that try against Newcastle - but he’s certainly not in
form. When he is though, fantastic.

Very few players have impressed this year, he was good last year
and can improve on that, we need to see what a number of the
team can do with competent coaching and tactics, there are some
players who are obviously past their sell by date, some who have
never been at the required level, these need to go, and others
who are underperforming, who need to be given a chance.

Two tries after 10 mins. Nice try Cadan Murley.
Missed the first try.
