Realistic transfer targets

It's that time of year where i'd like to think a few rumours
start popping out. We've already signed Dun and Furbank looks to
be on his way.
What other positions do you think we need to prioritise? The
obvious one is 12, but who would be realistic targets?
I've always thought Butt at Bath is a solid player and he's 3rd
choice there.
The other one i've come across is Jurenzo Julius who is at the
Sharks
Who do you think we should target?

Inia Tabuavou as a 12 who can play 13.
Only 23,6'1. Over 100kg. Very good defender and handler.
Played some for Racing in France as a kid, now at the Drua. Has
been getting game time for the national side too.
Having him, Beard and Waghorn as a 3 man rotation would work for
nearly every game plan in my opinion.

I do think that sometimes for get better results from Fijians,
Samoans, etc, if you can get a few together. They form
friendships and tend to fit in better.
I remember one chap that we signed a few years ago (I can't
remember who it was) saying that he felt homesick when training
on a cold winter morning. Homesickness probably doesn't do
anything for his morale or performance.
Are there any other Fijians who look handy?

I'd focus on 12 and hooker where we need to recruit first-choice
players.
Another quality tighthead is also needed to replace Titi and to
battle it out with Delgado for the 3 shirt.
And I'd suggest recruiting an absolute unit in the second row
too, replacing Lewies/Launchbury. Petti, Treadwell and Dun are
all quality players but there will be matches where we may need
the option of a bit more size.
Rohan Janse van Rensburg is apparently out of contract with
Bordeaux in the summer. He's 31, so not the ideal age profile,
but he provides real go-forward and has Prem experience.

Great prospect and already very strong. But I doubt he'd be
prised away from SA this side of a World Cup, and after that
only if he slips out of contention for a Bok squad spot.

Rohan was decent at Sale but I don’t remember him ever setting
the world alight. If I remember rightly, his hands also weren’t
brilliant.

Think we’ve mentioned in other chats around “profiles.” Think
maybe an older Fijian like Yato as a replacement for Chisholm,
be the impact 8 off the bench & be a mentor for the younger
aforementioned would work. Particularly if Perpignan get
relegated.

yea i did think this. my only hope was that he might see the
example of Andre. come over here for a few years and develop,
gain some different experiences, then head back to SA. Probably
a pipe dream though!

I would look at some of the foreign D2 players like,
Ioane Iashagashvili (Mont-de-Marsan), really good number 8, big
carrier.
Rudi Brown (Vannes) flanker
Ofa Manuofetoa (Aurillac) inside centre
Mayco Vivas (Oyonnax) prop
Danny Toala (Oyonnax) centre

Maybe take a look at some of the Georgian players?
