How would that work? You keep saying this but you have no
explanation for what happens next - so - who are your picks for
DoR and coaching team?
Which players are you paying large sums of money to in order to
release them from their contracts?
Which players are you bringing in?
Just some sense of how the business and the rugby team function
would be appreciated.
We’re all unhappy with the performances, good to get a sense of
your view on the solution.

Sounds like someone will be getting their P45 pretty imminently.
As others have said, the statement doesn’t say much but at least
there is some recognition there.
I don’t know what the solution is but I do know canning everyone
with no obvious and available replacements would be a very
strange way to run a rugby club.

The ‘elements of change that will take a relatively short term
to implement’ statement suggests movement will occur. I’d hope
the communication about what’s happening in the medium to longer
term comes as soon as practicable too.

Yes I read into it that there will be movement sooner rather
than later.

This seems to suggest everybody out ‘ Well triggers broom needs
to sweeping out all the failures from CEO downwards.
The only ones on the mens team that seem to be doing their job
is the Medical Team & the Kit Man.’
Apart from the medical team and the kit man.

John Mitchell would be my pick if I could have someone come in
who wouldn’t stray too far from our rough identity. Obviously
easier said than done with the RFU though. At least he wouldn’t
have much of an office relocation issue
On a separate train of thought…
I do think this has served as a wake up why relegation is
essential. It keeps teams more honest and probably gives more of
a focus, and removes that safety net of under performing without
fear of repercussions. I’m aware this depends on the team below
being allowed up, but still…

I want a consultancy fee if we do, or at least to be club
squirrel whisperer.

It’s not always in the former’s best interests to mix squirrels
and cats

Our two Bengals are strangely uninterested in Squirrels, but
absolutely hate the parakeets that we seem to have thousands of
here, despite having quite a few red kites here.

What I don’t get is how can Leicester appoint two very good DoR
during the last two seasons when we end up with Wilson and
Gilmore.
Geoff Parling is getting a real tune out of players who on
paper are no better than ours. Granted their forwards look far
more interested.
Laurie has made some awful appointments - it seems he has no
knowledge of on field rugby and is being very badly advised.
