Reoccurring theme. Jogging back like we did in the Sale game and

What a sad state of affairs. Quite aside from the actual
situation at the club, it’s loathsome to see MQ’s absolute glee
on here.
Something needs to happen but I’m not sure Gilmore going is it.
It might ‘send a message’ but I think he’d just be the
sacrificial lamb. Forgive the analogy but that feels like
suggesting cough medicine to treat a terminal illness.
I also think we’re giving the players too much of a free pass.
Whether they like the coaches or buy into the vision etc.
they’re being paid to play and way too many are lacking the
basic effort level expected. What happened to personal pride?

I think - but can be persuaded otherwise - that most of the time
we're actually going a good job with first up tackles and are
knocking players backwards. The problem is our defence gets
stretched so easily we very quickly start having to make much
weaker tackles because players are scrambling or off balance or
simply having to bust a gut just to lay a hand on someone. But I
do agree we are lacking power in the midfield and wider
regardless, which is why Waghorn improves us just by existing on
the pitch.
Saints turned their fortunes around with smart S&C work to
improve their strength in contact across the board. Fair to say
we could use some of that.

We need some expert strength and conditioning guru as I think
it’s a fair comment saying a lot of the side look like they
simply haven’t go the fitness and are carrying more weight then
they should.
Also, I’ve noticed it’s Rory Cleggs birthday on the 6th so I
expect that to be the main social media post this week

After watching Scottish beat Richmond by one point (excellent
performances by Bellamy and Hyde), I retreated to the pub to
watch the match and was enjoying things a minute and a half into
the match but all went downhill from there 😞
Looking forward to Stormers next week 🫣

I agree that our fitness needs to be looked at I am also
concerned how many players get injured in training. I know all
the reasons it can happen however we seem to lose a lot of
players mid week, which again indicates the S&C is not right.
There is no quick fix for this we all know that but something
needs to happen.

As well as totally predictable. I avoided yesterday’s match
thread solely to escape certain posters revelling in the defeat.

It works both ways….if we tonked Sale and Saints you know full
well I’d have smug gloating aimed at me (as it has been done in
the past). But I don’t really care and need a safe space so
water off a ducks back
