Harlequins have named their matchday 23 that will face
Northampton Saints at cinch Stadium at Frankin's Gardens on
Saturday (03 January, KO 17:30 - live on TNT Sports).
The Quarters will travel to the East Midlands for their first
Gallagher PREM fixture of 2026 and have made five changes to
their starting XV for this weekend's contest.
Scrum-half Lucas Friday is set to make his first league start as
he partners Marcus Smith at half-back.
The pair will be playing behind a pack that features skipper
Alex Dombrandt at Number 8, following his return to action last
week versus Sale Sharks.
Elsewhere in the forwards, George Turner comes into the
front-row at hooker for his first Gallagher PREM start,
alongside Will Hobson and Harry Williams.
Guido Petti Pagadizábal and Kieran Treadwell continue in the
second-row, with Chandler Cunningham-South shifting to blindside
flanker and Jack Kenningham starting on the openside.
In the backline, Jarrod Evans comes into the starting XV at
inside centre, with Luke Northmore shifting into the outside
centre channel.
Cassius Cleaves comes into the back three in place of Cadan
Murley, who is completing his return to play protocol, following
his HIA substitution against the Sharks.
Rodrigo Isgró and Nick David complete the starting XV at wing
and full-back respectively.
Jason Gilmore has opted for a six-two split amongst his
replacements with Sam Riley, the returning Simon Kerrod and
Pedro Delgado providing front row cover.
England Under-19 captain, Elliot Williams is set to make his
Gallagher PREM debut at Franklin's Gardens alongside the
experienced Joe Launchbury from the bench.
Zach Carr completes Quins' forward options with Will Porter and
Bryn Bradley covering the backline on Saturday evening.

Given injuries and form, hard to see anything other than a
defeat.
Desperate to see an improved performance and pleased to see some
of the youngsters getting a proper chance.

I'm kinda just waiting for Waghorn to be fit again before I'm
actually interested in seeing us play

Pleased to see Friday starting. Good to see kerrod back.
I don't understand how we've got so many injuries to players who
hardly play. What are they doing in training and what are s&c
doing?
Can't see us winning but would be pleased with better
application and some hint of attacking structure

Very happy to see Friday start, he's earned it. Less happy to
see Luke starting, but at least he's at 13. Also, I would have
benched CCS. However, given that Beard and Wev are injured,
these two look like obvious picks.
An update on injuries would be nice.

Was thinking similar, along with Jamie Benson.
Jarrod Evans is many things, I don't think 12 is one of them.
