Are you ok with people being called fascist when they are
protesting to have a migrant hotel closed in their community?
I'm referring to the people gather en masse and hold banners,
not those who commit violence.

I'm very much in favour of people's rights to protest, as long
as it's peaceful protest.

I also think, incidentally, that the last government very
deliberately slowed down asylum processing to make it a
political issue that they thought they could exploit (didn't
work; it just helped Reform instead).
I also want to distinguish between asylum seekers (something
legal in British and international law) and illegal immigrants.
Illegal immigrants are not using asylum hotels.

Latest idea is to build lots of council houses to place the
immigrants into instead of into hotels and the private rental
sector.
If you want to skip the 15 year queue for a council house then
simply get the Eurostar to Calais and come back in a rubber
boat.

Anyway, Nick Easter. This feels like it would be sentimentally
driven and he has no experience as DOR at the top level. For me,
that’s not what’s needed at the moment, it’d be another unproven
appointment.
Regardless of the content and political leanings of his X
activities, it really isn’t something I see any other high
profile coach in rugby indulging in, probably for good reason.

majority of people entering the country illegally are actually

If - and I'm happy to be corrected - you're referring to the
fact that once an illegal immigrant arrives, he can then become
an asylum seeker, then the fact remains that the person still
entered the country illegally. And people who entered the
country illegally are using asylum hotels.
