Yes please I’d happily see Easter back as DOR. I think he’ll
have learnt a lot on his travels and in Champ rugby.
I think supported by the right coaches he’d do well. He’s also
got Quins in his blood so us being a winning team matters more
       than just a pay cheque.

There are 11 sets of fans who would love you to steal him from
       Chinnor.
They were close to relegation from Nat 1 when he took over -
having seemingly forgotten how to win a game.
He reminded them how to play - without actually changing much.
Now they are in the upper half of the Championship.

The journo counts Easter as a "friend" so I'd take that article
with several mountains of salt, mind.
(Also Easter's a bit of a nut, a glance at his social media sees
him retweeting far right sources etc, so we'll see how keen
Premiership clubs are to take that on)

Chinnor have just won away at Worcester.
Watching interviews with both him and team, he seems to have got
the players to adopt that "we enjoy playing rugby, and we play
with/for our mates" mentality that won us the Premiership in
       2012.

And yet, when he was our defence coach many people wanted him
       gone 🤷

Yet another unproven (at top level) DoR/Head Coach? I thought
we’d all pretty much worked out we’d tried that and it doesn’t
       work.

Yep. FatQuin has a point. The last thing we need is another
gamble on a potentially promising coach. We need an established,
successful coach from the top level who knows how to get the
best out of us. Kind of like Baxter at Exeter or McCall at
Saracens. (Neither of them would work for us, I don't think, but
they really make their teams perform.)

From memory, our defence under him wasn't great. Having said
that, I'd happily have him back as part of the coaching set-up
but not as the top man. Couldn't really care less about his
       politics

Appreciate Mark McCalls history is slightly different but
       Taken from AI:
       Rob Baxter's Coaching Career Highlights
Club Legend: Baxter has spent his entire senior career at the
Exeter Chiefs, initially joining as a player in 1987. He made
over 300 appearances and served as club captain for a decade.
Head Coach Appointment: Following his retirement as a player, he
moved into coaching the University of Exeter side and acted as
forwards coach for the Chiefs before becoming Head Coach in
       2009.
Promotion to Premiership: In his first season as head coach, he
secured the team's promotion from the RFU Championship to the
Aviva Premiership for the first time in the club's history.
Major Titles: He guided the Chiefs to their first Premiership
title in the 2016/17 season and a historic Premiership and
European Champions Cup double in the 2019/20 season.
So pretty much a gamble on a potentially promising coach I'd say
       which did work out.
Who exactly are these established, successful coaches from the
       top level that are available?
Maybe it's time to look at a Championship coach you may get the
       next Rob Baxter.
