Steph leaving?

Buried halfway down that Steph seems to be heading back to
Durban. Hasn’t played as much as he or we would like recently,
but he has been a great player and leader for us since he got
here.

He's a good player when fit, but that's increasingly rare these
days. No real justification for keeping him. Sadly the same is
true of Chisholm.

My worry about this would be the loss of more senior leadership
from the team. Yeah, he's been injured, but when he did play, he
was a more effective on-field leader than most of the players we
have left.

Considering how rudderless we’ve been for a few years now, I
can’t see how him leaving can make any difference

He's been a great servant to the club, but he's so rarely
available, it's difficult to argue the case for a contract
extension. And we already have James Dun locked in for next
season.

Possibly because he hasn't been on the pitch much in the last
couple of seasons. And things can get worse. We're still only in
8th...

Him and Chis have been huge losses for us. They are both
competitive players, with a good skill set. I would love to know
the win % when these two are involved versus when they are not?
I bet they have a better win % than most players!

For Steph, he hasn't had a season where he's won more than he's
lost since 21/22. Slightly better percentages for Chis recently
but 21/22 is the last winning season for him too, and the
season after that was played 7 lost 6...

As much as I like both players and appreciate what they bring
when fit. We need players who are available more often to drive
competition for places.

If we knew he’s be around for 75% at least of the season no
brainer, but that’s hypothetical. (To keep)
The reality is, if he left us tomorrow we wouldn’t notice and
the main benefit would be an extra parking space at the stoop
