Northmore at 12 again. Shows the insanity of only having one 12
in the squad. How was Chisholm able to play a friendly a month
ago but still can't play a proper game? Presumably waghorn
wasn't properly fit last week either.
Why is musk on the bench if Riley and turner are available, and
why is walker starting for that matter. Repeated poor
performances don't result in players being dropped.

Meh, you'd say its a good side on paper but that means nothing
with Quins lately.
As mentioned, Walker is being rewarded with failure. With Riley
and Turner not on the unavailable list, why did we sign them up
if they've been leapfrogged by the 4th place hooker? Turner I
think was a signing we thought before the season began would be
a fairly good addition as he's got a half decent pedigree but
seemingly isn't trusted. Maybe they've had a falling out with
Gilmore? As Riley was amongst the tries recently and at least a
good bench option.

Odd that Williams and Hobson are starting again on a six day
turnaround. I'd of liked to see our two Argie international
props starting.

I'm baffled. Rotating players is a good thing. Seeming to drop
players who have performed whilst sticking with players who
haven't? Along with players being fit one week but not the next,
with no explanation? Yes, they may get injured in training, but
that seems incredibly frequent. And as for benching
internationals ahead of an underperformer and a youngster on a 6
day turnaround?

Well players are frequently managing injuries that may not rule
them out of playing, so we have no idea about stuff like that.
I'm pleased for Hobson and he thoroughly deserves another start,
although it may prove to be one small positive after another
thumping great humiliation. Mind you, if the team has taken
enough umbrage at last week's performance maybe this time
they'll show some stones.
