Sean Long returns to rugby union following Oldham exit

What do people think? Good, bad, indifferent? A change to the
coaching team at least and he does seem to have a connection to
Marcus.

There is no mention of his role but any shake up/fresh eyes in
the coaching must be a positive, it can't be any worse than the
present.

I thought it said he was consulting on attack reviewing our
games and scouting opposition.

I think he left with a certain amount of frustration and I’m
purely speculating that it was linked to Gussy. I seem to recall
he had his wings clipped with comments like ‘we don’t do that
here (in union).
I for one see this as positive as our current attacking guru has
flattered to decieve.
