Wasn't this the season we were supposed to break even?

For those without Instagram, Quins have posted losses of £3.3m
for the 24/25 season. Think I saw somewhere else that this
number is roughly double the previous season.
Anyone know why our losses have increased exponentially?

Covid loans, high operating costs, and inflation.

I imagine our esteemed government helped throw a curveball to
previous predictions with the increase to NI contributions etc

Pretty sure it was said at State of play, we would be in the
       black

I imagine next years accounts will be worse. We usually sell out
TBG but for reasons discussed elsewhere I imagine we will at
best get about 70k so money wise I reckon be a lot half a mil
down from what we usually get

       I can't believe that's a significant proportion of £3.3m. What's
       our salary bill?

No, it was just daft comment.

Laurie said the NI increase added about half a million in costs
       a while back.

So you are saying it wouldn’t have added to the debt?

Sale have a Billionaire owner now so can probably swallow the
losses. I’m always sceptical about accounts ( probably because
I’ve never really understood them) as they appear to be smoke
and mirrors. Do any of the other companies that are part of the
       Harlequin group make losses.
