I think Smith needs to play in the reserves for a while. I'm
going off the boy quickly.

He's had a couple of 'meh' games and made a couple of dubious
decisions but we've got to remember a) his age and b) what he
has achieved in the season and a half since being thrown in at
the deep end at the start of last season.
He's having a bad patch, we all get them. I'd say it's better to
support him than slag him off

If your post had said we’re inconsistent I’d have agreed. I
wrote “anyone?” because it was an incomprehensible stream of
consciousness and no one had a clue what the thread was about.

You have to give credit to Treviso who played with a lot of pace
and hunger and at times were too strong for Quins. This is no
second-rate team Quins we’re playing - they are well organised
and have some quality in the side. I’ve only seen a little of
their pro14 games but I’ve though they’ve looked good.
But on to Quins - it was a bit poor and lacklustre again. I’m at
a loss to see how they can make such hard work of it.
I was sat quite close to the coaches and it was interesting
seeing the body language of the players, who looked a bit done
in at time. I am getting concerned about 10 as there’s no
obvious contender there who can make a mark and dictate the
game. That’s the position where I see the least confidence.
Whilst we have seen glimpses of what this team might be there is
still a very long road ahead to get the consistency.

It was painfully obvious and everyone got their knickers in a
twist for no good reason.

continue to play at the level of any opposition and have the

of our players are terrible and we are a bad team" responses are
ridiculous.

we are so inconsistent and why we haven't sorted out season
recurrent decision making issues. Shouting online at talented
but still very young players like Smith won't help and I doubt
it's even that cathartic.

Agreed. Sadly, those type of posts are pretty much guaranteed.

Pretty sure writing “anyone” meant my knickers were as untwisted
as a pre-Saville top of the pops audience member.
But you know, the forum and humour aren’t easy bedfellows.
Unlike 80s tv presenters and underage girls.

Had a nice chat with Kieran Cowley after the game, and said they
had studied us closely this season, but where very please with
the result ( Obviously)
Also said about the team ethos they are trying to build and the
result will mean a huge amount to all the players and supporters
Also had a chat with Tito and just made me think “ Why did we
let him go” looked a different player last night
Actually believe our problem is a mental one. We turn up for
games we don’t think we have a chance of winning and put in a
good performance , and other game where we think we could have a
chance, we just don’t seem to click
