If we are going to sign a back. I get Furbank, covers 15 and 10,
but would rather then have two inside centres, rather than four
       scrum halfs.
So maybe a decent 12 rather than another 9.

I agree. But it doesn’t have to be one or the other. We could
       sign a 9 and a 12.
On the 9 front I would happily let Townsend walk and replace him
with Quirke. I’d be tempted to let Porter walk for Quirke, but
I’m not totally sold on that thought. I have no idea how the
contracts line up and whether either would be feasible. But I
see a scenario where adding Quirke makes sense. To me at least.

Porter is consistently good. Maybe not top quality, but still
       very handy.
Quirke is much less consistent. Yes he can be excellent, but
he’s often pretty poor and is very injury prone.
Overall, I’d take Porter’s regular 7 out of 10 performances over
       Quirke’s occasional 9/10 games.

Speaking of Easter - if the Chimp really is the proving ground,
Easter is proving a good coach with a side with limited
resources. Perhaps he needs a run in the Pram.
I might have got my vowels wrong. Perhaps it is Prim and Chomp,
or Prom and Chump - something like that.

Monkeys would also be better at accounting than Saracens.
Monkeys can understand written numbers and can even count. They
can also understand basic parts of arithmetic and even, in rare
       cases, multiplication.
