Anyone have any idea how many tickets have been sold for BG17?

on the 4th Dec they posted "75% sold" which is 61000 or so if
the club have it as full capacity out of 82,000.
I did notice though before they've been specific to ticket
numbers prior to that it was 45,000 on 13th nov
Looking at seat view for buying a ticket, all the tiers are open
but quite a few sections completely greyed out which is odd, so
I think the change to giving a % is market spin

stating the obvious if they close off areas of the stadium,
sounds better with a percentage of 75% of available seating.
having to move it forward really might effect numbers
significantly this year. Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of
the top tier closed off, hope not for the clubs sake.

Large greyed out areas do raise suspicions. Mass last minute
giveaway to schools or flash sale?

FWIW, I wonder if some of those areas are greyed out because
they’re already filled by tickets sold through clubs.
L1 is one of the grey sections and I know that’s where the Ams’
allocation is (along with other clubs). Friends are at
Teddington and I think are in L33 (also greyed).
I don’t think that will account for all the areas (there are a
few) but there may be multiple reasons why sections are now
unavailable.

Every year we go through this. It's almost as if some here
*want* the club to fail in terms of ticket sales for BG & BSKO.
Yes, this year the attendance will most likely be down because
it's being held before Christmas rather than after. But as long
as we get over the Break Even point (usually believed to be in
the 50k region) then it can be classed as successful for the
club.
