playing well. If a few key players seem out of sorts, others
aren't at the races, and the starting XV are there in place of
much better options, it gives them an impossible task when they
come on. I'd have gone with a different pack, and would have
       hooked Marcus at half-time. Isgro - it's a mystery.

I don't think selections made much difference today. Mentally
they were away with the fairies. One player wondering what
rainbows taste like, while another wonders how many crumbs are
used in one square foot of 3g pitch while one more tries to
remember which capital city is closest to the equator etc.

Properly disgusting performance. The coaches should make the
players walk home, and the fans should make the coaches crawl
home while stealing their fat wallets to pay for the match
       tickets.
The players should be ashamed of themselves bar maybe Fin
Baxter, and the coaches should be wondering if they are worse
than asking a magic 8-ball to prepare the team. Just abysmal,
       embarrassing, humiliating incompetence.
We deserve to lose points for that game.

Good lord, when JG uses language like that you know it's been
       properly bad.

Just bloody awful, same old tosh. Quality players playing their
own game. Tackling optional, embarrassing try conceded, ripped
apart on first phase and can't catch a cold. How the hell do we
do it so consistently with different players???

If only we got rid of the whole coaching set up after the
       disaster that was last season…

Worth noting that Exeter, who were absolute trash last season,
changed their coach and as of right now are topping the league.
The difference between good coaching and bad coaching.

Just pathetic. A winnable game on the road and didn’t even get
off the coach. Abject. Feel like the club are taking the
supporters for a ride these days.

Also worth noting that Exeter last season, while looking
incompetent and in a tactical straitjacket, showed plenty of dog
       in many games.

Exeter didn't have the cattle, as they say. It was a very young
side most weeks and the coaching team weren't right for that
sort of challenge. This season they've added Tom Hooper, Len
Ikitau, Stephen Varney, Joseph Dweba, and a handful of other
very experienced players to guide what was a talented but fairly
       inexperienced and slightly aimless group.

But the fireworks and the band will be great at Big Game…. I get
the feeling that matters more to the club than putting in a
       decent performance on the pitch.
