O/T Another nail in the coffin for R360?

The Lions have now followed a lot of the Unions in saying
they'll not pick players from R360 for a Lions place: Link

for the Womens' proposed R360, this would be a real killer,
given that they'd need the stars from the Home Nations, NZ, Aus
to be the backbone of the squads. Surely it's time for Tindall
et al to quietly slink away and the whole concept never be heard
of again...

I may be wrong but I'm not sure how much more than a symbolic
announcement this is. England, Scotland and Ireland already have
the ban in place so the only extra players this covers are
non-internationals and the Welsh.

Or it is an indication that the establishment are seriously
worried.
I see that, in another story, Sale's owners have said it could
be the end for club rugby. As they do not want to put money into
a club that just produces players for R350 without being
compensated.
Good job they do not back a Championship side.
But I get the point.

They kinda do back a Nat 1 team but I get your point

Doesn't seem likely. Just a way for certain people to pocket a
big salary for a while. The whole thing has been a piss-take
from the start.

Exactly this. To be clear, I'm also ruling myself out of being
available for R360.

But then Tindall would lose 2 years of generous salary for doing
not much. (He was born to be a royal.)
