Andre the giant

How did we not ever manage to use Andre at 6/7 at some point.
He's so good wherever he plays. I think he might be the player
we miss the most from our most recent title singing season.

I don't remember us singing the title 😁
Andre is a very special player. He did well yesterday. The Boks
were just unstoppable, despite the best efforts of Carley
😡

Absolutely. And no brakes on them.

Probably because he was so important for us at 12. The Boks are
not short of centres, unlike Quins and England, so they can
afford to use him as a flanker when they want a hybrid player.

I mean, he did card a lot of Irish players and somehow let SFM
get away with a flying shoulder charge without getting carded,
so I don't think the Boks can consider themselves too hard done

The title singing session that I recall is the one led by Minty
in 2012:

The Boks forwards were indeed immovable - but for 30-odd minutes
when Ireland were reduced to 12 or 13 players, they didn't
really do much that went well and the brave Irish defence kept
them at bay - the Boks should have hammered the Irish line -
which they did, but with little nous and for too few points
scored. Ireland might not be as good as they once were, but
their fighting spirit in defence was fantastic - last stand at
Islandlwana stuff.

He could have doubled the yellows for Ireland. The 20 minute red
was a clear straight red. Sachs's could have been a yellow at
worst, although he was trying to wrap but looked like his head
was on the wrong side of the player. At the end it felt like
Carley was desperate to card a Bok.

Irish defence was superb. Irish antics at the scrum were
appalling and should have resulted in more yellows. Porter
deserved a red as he was already on a yellow. But Carley just
allowed reset, penalty, reset, collapse and nauseam.
