Daly was good nick in the summer, but that's out of date. It's

Couple of points but Curry's first game back after the Lions was
Australia. Yes of the bench but he's been doing (much more than)
OK.
Steward on the wing? The oil tanker v Carreras or Isgro?

Perennial reminder that we have not seen what sort of nick Daly
is in, whereas the coaches have. They've had him in camp for
rehab and presumably he has been in full training long enough
for them to be confident that he can slot in and execute the
gameplan.
Given the number of injuries in the squad (RugbyPass have done
an England Injured XV - 7 or 8 of the players would definitely
be in the matchday squad and a further 3 or 4 would be in
contention), and the need to finish the series on a high, it
makes sense to pick him if he's the best option in training.

a) Curry always comes back strong, Daly doesn't have a history
of that
b) Off the bench is a much, much better idea and it's telling
he's stayed there

Curry is a fairly supreme athlete and will fair better than
most. However, I think it was Vunipola under Jones who was
either was coming back off injury or didnt have enough minutes
in him and he was awful. I think that was around the Sarries
relegation period

There was also Lancaster's disastrous decision to take Burgess
off against Wales in RWC 2015 and replace him with Tuilagi,
which he compounded by repeatedly picking an unfit Billy V (or
was it Morgan) over Easter, who was in the form of his life but
on the outs with England management.

Forgive me Rigger, I don't know why "Curry is known for coming
back strongly after injury" and "being on the bench is a lot
better than starting if you're not match fit" deserves a 'Dumb',
but I seem to be falling foul of you a few times recently for
some fairly innocuous comments

I've no idea but the vast majority of Rigger's ratings come from
the far right on the mobile site so it could just be fat finger
scrolling. 😁
