How we did not recruit a journeyman inside centre is beyond
comprehension, even Ealing trailfinders recruited Rory Scannell
from Munster, and he is not even starting for them.
It must surely have been obvious that we were going to have
major problems in the midfield after last season, and at 9
although it looked like we had a number of options the cupboard
is already bare, hopefully Lucas Friday will be back to continue
his development, it seems he is recovering ahead of schedule.
This season injury wise for many other clubs is looking like the
first day of the Somme, but that for them is through bad luck we
seem to have created our own problems.

Absolute world class thinking not to replace the outgoing 12's.
With vision like that from the powers that be one shouldn't be
too surprised with the downward trajectory of the club.

why not stick in Kerr, Bradley or Hyde at 12 - surely a better
bet than the option of 2 fly halves ?

Maybe they’ve realised J Evans is so bad at 10, they might as
well try him somewhere else while he’s in contract.

Kerr was tried and was a real issue defensively without really
showing much in attack. But I can't imagine Bradley or Hyde
       being a liability.

Stick him at 8, might as well get some cover there 😁
Why not have kept Schmid back from the Oxford game and have him
       on the bench as cover?

Schmid’s coming back from injury and they may have felt that he
wasn’t quite ready for a full on Prem game.
In other Lucas news, NEv did say that at the Quinssa AGM Lucas
Friday was back in full training, so we should see him before
too long. But again, better not to rush him back and risk injury
       again.

Because we’ve had a good training week and taking learnings from
the previous week to move into the next block?

So, fairly similar to last week, except slightly weaker...

We don't actually have that many injuries or absences compared
to some clubs, but we are looking thin anyway.

He's a unit, but he's has a reasonable amount of minutes this
season and failed to make any sort of impact. Hoping he delivers
       on his potential tomorrow.
