The worry is probably never that far away. A lot of our business
plan hinges on the big stoop fixtures. A season or two of a huge
drop off of income and that would be a worry for the powers that
       be.
Interestingly, we announced today we sold 30k tickets. Last year
I couldn't seem to find a like for like announcement, as a
comparison we sold 50k by a further around 3 weeks from today.
With the fixture moved before Christmas, along with poor on
field performances, it could certainly dent the coffers. We
usually enjoy a sell out for this fixture so even if match day
attendance is 65000-70000 thats a fairly big drop in our revenue
       we rely on

Quite a lot, really, but I'm sure you already know that.

       We have two schemes:
Debenture = pay a fair bit extra each year on top of a season
ticket and get access to the Debenture Lounge
before/during/after games. There's food available (paid, not
free), a well staffed bar (so minimal queues) and usually a
       pre-match talk from a coach/player.
Bond = a traditional bond issue done some years ago that pays
5.5% and gives no other benefits. Bondholders used to get talk
by CEO/coaches but this has now morphed into a letter.

If clubs want fans to invest, then strikes me they should be
looking at fan ownership models enabling stakes in the club for
       supporters groups.
Fan ownership and commercial investment (think Bundesliga and
their 50+1 rule) could help transition away from the single
investor/sugar daddy model which leaves many clubs vulnerable.
