Another club who will throw their hat in the ring for CCS no
doubt.

Massive blow, particularly with the timing.
Will make CCS retention harder for us if he, understandably,
wants to be no8.
Short career, get your money while you can etc
But given he was one of the 25 central contracts, that’s got to
be a worry for the higher ups.

Meh. Seen off by ccs last week. Like his brother, not willing to
fight for it. Shame.

Willis is obviously hugely influential and I was looking forward
to seeing how he develops his game from tackle breaking wrecking
ball to someone who turns those moments into real damage, but I
guess he really is just an extremely mercenary player.
Clearly I play the world's tiniest violin for Sarries, who
recruited who they thought would be the perfect replacement for
Billy only to lose out when forced to balance the books, but it
will be interesting to see who they pick up. Wonder if they'll
come in for CCS?

I’d argue that it says more about him.
To accept a Central Contract and then move to France anyway
suggests a real lack of integrity.

Doesn't really matter. Parachuting players in from France who's
contracts have just finished, or whom negotiate a year's
sabbatical would make a mockery of the eligibility criteria. And
you'd be rightly annoyed if as a backrow you stick around, play
the 6N and AI's and then see T or J Willis (as an example) take
your WC spot.
