I imagine Anderson means we'll be using the airial route again,
where David adds no value, other than his balanced running

With Waghorn out, it looks like Benson is set to get a run of
games at 12. I'm all for that given the other options. We know
Northmore will run good lines, so they should compliment each
other as a pair.
I agree Benson is robust enough defensively and he's got an
excellent all-round skill set. The question mark for me is
whether he can be enough of a gainline threat himself ball in
hand.

We lose a fair amount of defensive solidity with Northmore in
for Beard, unfortunately. May be very tricky for us in defence.
We'd probably get some more in attack though

Broadly agree. Beard is an exceptional defender in the 13
channel but Northmore is no slouch and is definitely more of an
attacking threat.
It's a nice problem to have and as a fan I feel comfortable
whichever one of them gets the nod.
Northmore's first game for a while. Hopefully he (and Lewies)
hit the ground running and enjoy a bit more fortune in staying
injury free.

He's robust, but his positioning can still be a bit off. Not
surprising as he's still learning the role.

Yeah, Benson is still learning to play adult rugby, let alone
how to play 12 which is obviously not his main position. Kid
looks class. If he gets shown up tomorrow it's no biggie, but if
he shines it'll be huge.
