How many big concert venues does London need? It must be
saturated by now with Wembley Stadium, Tottenham, sometimes the
London Arena and Arsenal also planning to modernise their
ground. Last time I was there for a big concert, the Stones in
2018, the trains failed leaving tens of thousands stranded.

New York has less population and 7 mega venues as they are
called, So that was why the RFU were so keen.

The big issue with gigs at Twickenham is the train service.
Assume for go to a gig on a weeknight.
If the gig is due to finish at 11:00pm and slightly overruns. It
could take around 10 minutes to get out of the ground (it you
are on the upper tier).
You then stop for the toilet. With the queue, etc, assume 10
minutes.
You then go to get your bags. Lets assume the process is
mega-efficient (spoiler alert - it isn't) and you get you bag in
10 minutes.
It is now 11:35. You see the sign saying that you can go to St
Margarets station to avoid the crush going into Twickenham.
You walk there in 25 minutes.
Never mind - the last train left 26 minutes ago.
If it was a Saturday gig however, then you still have 15 minutes
to get on a train. The trains coming from Twickenham will have
plenty of space - - won't they?

Didn't you have the chance to vote for a TfL option? Not our
fault if Sadiq was your favoured option is it ?
When working in Mexico (city) back in the 80s I could get into
sports and music events at the Aztec stadium at any time of the
day or night without too many problems back to my residence that
was easily 30 miles away in Edo de Mexico, not DF.

here.
Are you blaming Twickenham residents for voting for Kahn?

You do know that the trains from Twickenham are run by South
Western Railway and have nothing to do with TfL? Though the 281
bus which is a TfL service does run 24 hours.

There are so many TFL plans, already for every part of London,
and when you add in plans from the various parties, they have
about a 1 in a 1000 chance of ever happening.
Also lets not forget the murder rate in Mexico is 36 times
higher than the UK, so the trains may have been better 40 years
ago, but will take that compared to drugs gangs armed with
military grade assault weapons, wandering the streets.

There is an option to get to the Piccadilly line. You still have
to get a shift on though. Especially for Sunday (or Thursday)
night gigs. You are unlikely to make the last train. According
to Tfl, the capacity of a train is around 800 people.
(Theoretical crush standing capacity (7 customers per m2)).
So - this is not a great option either.
