Personally I would give Diamond a shot at it, we have nothing to
lose.
Forget all this "Not in the Quins DNA rubbish" performances over
the last few years are not in the DNA either.
I don't know if any of you have had any decent in depth
conversation with Diamond or Cockrell ??
Both are pasionate about the game, my opinion is with the
players we have either of them could get much better results
than the
dross with have now.
I would retain Bomb as he has improved our pack.
Gilmore needs to go.

I just don't see the point of everyone agreeing that Quins need
to improve on who we have in charge and then going "why don't we
get a guy who's even worse". If it's a choice of Cockerill or
Diamond, anyone suggesting the latter is not a serious person

Nope. It's one thing to say we need change. It's quite another
to say that any change is worth having. Things can get worse,
hard though that might be to believe. Look at Newcastle.

Newcastle were actually improving then Dimes obviously had a
falling out
It looks tome like we can write off this season, and let’s just
hope we have a season in Challenge cup
Heard elsewhere it’s our worst run in the prem, but thought this
was the same position we where in under Gustard and he went
They will now obviously say Gilly is building and needs time

It starts right now! Or maybe at the end of this season! The key
thing is to remember that we're always at the start of the 3
years.

Hopefully we have somebody lined up that is under contract until
the end of this season so can’t announce anything yet.
Could it be that the players aren’t buying into what the head
coach wants them to do. Sounds familiar. The team all seem to
get on well so I don’t think there are divisions. Gilmore said
in one video that we need more power in the forwards because we
are coming off second best in the collisions which is why we
signed the lad from Bears for next season. When they speak the
coaches seem to know what’s wrong but can’t get the players to
rectify the problem.

I don’t know who I’d like to come in if I’m honest. I just
really want someone who can give us a bit of edge and stop us
being a weak minded team.

He won't leave France, but Shaun Edwards would certainly add
some grit!

Last time he was a head coach was Wasps 2008, and the French
defence has been getting worse since 2022, lots of money if
someone wanted him and lots of risk.
Would prefer John Mitchell.
