Haha absolutely not. That's taking being the devil's advocate
way too far. Earl goes absolutely nuts over the slightest thing
and has repeatedly gloated in opposition players faces. Will
Evans is nothing like him - very few players are, it's a
Saracens speciality and Earl is the worst for it.
In recent seasons he's toned it down a bit, perhaps, but it's
       still his natural personality.
       Pollock is much the same.

'Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall:
"I'd say we got what we deserved, but we didn't because we got a
losing bonus point. We were lucky to get that. Quins were by far
       the better team.
"They dominated territory and had a very strong kicking game,
and we didn't cope well with it. That affected the rest of our
game and the rest of our energy and intent.
"Marcus kicked beautifully and put us under pressure. We
probably didn't prepare the team in the way we should have for
what came and that's obviously my fault."

I think the difference is that WEv tends to celebrate things
that he has personally done (or at least a team mate has),
whereas Earl tends to celebrate anything that goes in his team's
favour, including opposition mistakes. Though he has toned it
       down a bit of late.

When Earl burst onto the scene his hootering and hollering was
rightly ridiculed but he's wound it up mostly. He's also been a
fairly consistent player in an England shirt and was one of our
best players in the 6n even out of position at 8 so not even I'm
quick to criticize him. Of the backrow players constantly
swooned over but not fussed about is Sam Underhill

I honestly don't remember WEv fist pumping when Quins won a
lineout. Earl, on the other hand, come across as someone who
       celebrates opening an envelope.

It's a fair shout, supporter bias is always one eyed. I saw the
game live and didn't see wEV doing it at all yesterday, but saw
Earl when he scored his try and when they won a scrum, when they
won a turnover, when they patted a mascot on the head.
Re F&Fs comment on Farrell being a 'Northerner', I'd not heard
that before levelled at him, that really is petty if it does
       happen.

It's not everyone. I think the most common reason for disliking
Farrell is his on-field demeanour and actions. (From what I've
heard, he's quite pleasant off-field.) There's a reason he can
usually be found right in the middle of every bust-up on the
field. But I've come across a few people who clearly just don't
think he's "one of us" because of his accent.

There’s definitely an element of Farrell projecting himself as a
hard as nails no nonsense guy whilst simultaneously dishing out
more cheap shots than just about anyone in the Northern
       Hemisphere

I know people who have known him for many years, and others who
have met him occasionally. Without fail, he's described as a
really nice, friendly guy. He's clearly a hyper competitive
person, hence his achievements, which I doubt anyone would deny.
He's the type of player you want alongside you rather than
       against you.

Has anyone heard Hugh Tizard talking about how much he loves
       playing against Quins recently?
