Tindall has seriously gone down in my estimation pushing this.
The way it comes across I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if you
told me Allen Stanford was behind it after his cricket venture

I like to treat these things like planning permission. You can
keep saying no but eventually, they'll have to say yes to
       something.

The complete lack on any names, players, sponsers, broadcasting
rights, is very strange the only name that was being dropped Red
Bull seems to have gone away.
Seems very unlikely that World Rugby would agree, and the only
people who may sign are players who would go to the french D2,,
but are the players being given more details of what and where
       R360 is.
A bit like Michael Johnson's Grand slam track.

Profits going to a small group of elite individuals rather than
being reinvested in the game? I don't think so.

Part of me likes the idea of an "all-stars" type league.
Barbarians matches are popular with both the casual rugby
supporter and the die-hard fans alike. They usually put 30
current rugby stars on the pitch and have some fun.
But - I have a problem with Barbarians games as they are
basically "friendlies". You get cases where they focus on
entertainment rather than winning. (e.g. see Marler drop-kick
       conversion).
So, wouldn't it be nice if you had a league for players who were
in their final year of rugby - but, actually had some sort of
trophy at the end of it.
Basically, it would be grabbing people like Robshaw before he
went to the USA. Maybe Care and Marler after they left Quins,
etc., and giving them one last swansong/payday.
You wouldn't need to worry about conflicts with international
windows or the club game. etc. It would just be more fun - but
without the games being pointless "friendles".

Assuming those unions will vote against sanctioning R360 when
the World Rugby Council next meets in June then they only need 2
more votes for a 26 vote majority, and the WRU's comment that
they support the statement suggests that there will be at least
       27 votes against.

Barbarians matches are not on every week and played in places
where rugby is not popular, this when they did show some plans
was like the sevens series and apart from a few venues that is a
complete money down the drain exercise.
Also who is going to buy the broadcasting rights, and how are
they going to be arranged, all the usual suspects will not touch
it as they are competing with competitions they already own the
       rights to.
It is one of those ideas that sounds good on paper or PDF but
when you get into the detail is a great way to throw away money.

I'm trying to thing through the practicalities of this. Having a
league suggests a number of teams. Would 6 be unreasonable? Any
fewer feels to me like there isn't much of a league.
6 teams is c.250 players. How many legends are retiring each
season not through injury? Even if we include those who go to
Pro D2 or the USA, my gut feel is that it's not enough.
