When Jarrod Evans missed the kick to the corner, it definitely
felt like a 'file it away for later' moment.
The point around our 2nd half collapses since last season
started is so jarring.

Much as it pains me to admit it, I think I agree with Stuart
Barnes.

Evans is no more an improvement on Will Edwards in my view. He
lacks an all round polished game and a lot of the basics he can
mess up spectacularly. Benson is miles ahead for what you need
of a 10 in my view.
The overall throwing games away and being a one half at best
side has been present for a few seasons and if we are to get out
of it, then it's time to get a brand new coaching set up in, and
probably cut off about 7-8 at least of the "squad" players who
can't be relied upon to be effective when required to step in.

Not sure I totally agree with his comment, wasn't happy with our
second half and how poor we were but JE's kick not making touch
was also into a very strong wind so a mistake yes but how much
did that strong wind affect it, not sure that was a dead cert
kick to touch 5 meters out from any kicker. We should have had
more points on the board in the first half, David butchered a
try by not passing to Green 10M out. That second half the whole
team seemed lethargic and we seemed to have lost the ref and
direction. Hoping its just rust at start of season and lack of
1st teamers but puckering a bit for this season.

It was a bad mistake from jev to go with his defensive lapse and
his complete lack of direction at 10. He seems a weirdly small
personality for a guy with his reputation
