MND prevalence varies geographically but is roughly 4-5 cases
per 100,000 people globally, or about 1 in 300 lifetime risk. In
the UK, this translates to around 5,000 people living with MND
at any given time.

The interview on the BBC is hard to watch. Especially the bit
where he talks about having to explain it to his boys. I first
heard about it when that player Jarrod Cunningham from London
Irish got it. I know he tried everything from modern and
alternative medicine to try and beat it. Didn't make it
unfortunately.
