The sensible thing for the SH unions ahead of to do RWC 2029
would be to create a women's version of the old Super 15s
spanning Australia, NZ and SA. Although there are big
differences in capability today, SA are improving fast and I
expect Aus will invest ahead of 2029 - both will be targeting a
semi-final place, I'd have thought.
Whether that's politically achievable is a very different
question...
