Harlequins have made six changes to the starting XV that will
take on Leicester Tigers in Round 2 of the PREM Rugby Cup at The
Stoop (Friday 19 September, 19:45).
The Quarters welcome back experience to the pack with Harry
Williams set to make his first competitive appearance at
tighthead since landing in TW2 this summer.
Fellow summer signing, Kieran Treadwell has been selected in the
engine room, while Jack Kenningham and Will Evans will start at
blindside and openside flanker.
Jarrod Evans returns to the starting XV to marshall the Quarters
at fly-half and Tyrone Green will line up in the back field on
Friday night.
George Turner is set for his first appearance for Quins after
being named an impact player for Friday night's contest.
Defence Coach, Jason Gilmore said: "It's always a battle with
Leicester, they're a very direct team. They base themselves on
their set-piece and their physicality and they take a lot of
pride in their aerial kicking game.
"We're back in front of home fans this weekend and want to put
in a performance that will allow us to build momentum as the
start of the Gallagher PREM season approaches."

My cousin's son is due to be one of the ARs on Friday. I told
him if he heard any abuse involving asking about his guide dog,
it would likely be me.

It is a shame that we have bought reinforcements in.
It would have been nice if our lesser experienced team from last
week was playing this lesser experienced tigers team.
I think I would have preferred the senior players on the bench.

If we don't win this one, it will be a very, very bad sign for
our season. We need to win by a pretty big margin against a very
weak Tigers team.

A stronger team out this week and I think this makes sense as we
build towards the Prem kick off.
Hopefully the scrum will hold up a little better this week.

Maybe. But maybe not.
It may be that we go ahead by half time and then bring our
senior players off.
We then play the next 40 with a disjointed in-experienced team
in the second half and lose all momentum. (As we did vs
Benetton)

I'm a little surprised to see Walker listed as Captain. Usually
Lawday would have the armband form that lineup.

Stronger team than last week. Still nowhere near a 1st XV, but
then it shouldn't be. Tiggers are going for a very inexperienced
team.
