Yep, pretty clearly a short term appointment to cover for a
surprising last minute change. Safe enough pair of hands.
Suspect we'll still end up doing worse than if Wilson hadn't
left, but it's not a terrible choice on the face of it. Probably
better than going it alone.

I think he’ll probably do OK.
Better or worse than Wilson will probably be determined by style
of play/margin of wins and losses because (unfortunately), I
think there are at least 6 clubs who are better than us (or in a
a better, more settled position).
I thought we’d finish 7th or 8th under Wilson and I don’t see
that changing under Booth.
IMO, success would be improving the environment, integrating the
new signings and putting the squad in a better position for a
new coach (hopefully a more exciting one) to inherit for 26/27.

Yet another wasted year 'treading water' then? Followed by
another three-year plan.
