I may be barking mad, but after last night, I’m a bit more
positive about the season
We actually looked like a Quins side that wanted to run the ball
and from any part of the pitch
Can’t see anyone challenging Bath if they keep that squad fit

Having glanced in at the Newcastle-Sarries game a couple of
times, I reckon Newcastle are going to offer less of a threat
then I had hoped they would with new funding and players. (No,
I'm not a Newcastle supporter, but having a team that everyone
expects to beat isn't good for the league.) Early days, but
Newcastle look like they'll be 10th. I'll wait to see Exeter
play to see if I think we'll finish above them.

And looking at Exeter, against Northampton 8th is looking the
worst we should do.
Now with what is happening in the 2nd half maybe 7th.

Exeter absolutely tore Saints to shreds in that second half.
They will take a lot of confidence from that. I suspect they are
going to do better this season. Not top of the table, but we'll
be fighting with them in the bottom half.

Entertaining game. Saints were just on fire in the first half
and it's not surprising they couldn't maintain it, but very good
gritty comeback from Exe.

It's definitely something Exeter wouldn't have managed last
season. Some of their new signings have been really good, and
they missed Feyi-Waboso for too much of the season.
