I've said for a long time that I'd pick Murley over any of the
latest favourites, bar none. It's not bias, it's appreciation of
how good he is, how consistent he is, how hard working he is,
and how much his game has improved.
Unless we can sign Cheslin Kolbe 😁

Exeters Aussie signings will give them a big boost. Newcastle
still a work in progress but I could see us probably struggling
up there as we always make a hash of it at KP

Recent league histiory suggests we don't always make a hash of
it at Kingston Park? Aside from the recent Prem cup game we've
won 5 out of the last 6 league games up there and haven't lost
since a 25-22 loss up there in 2021. We had a rubbish period
during the mid 2010s where we lost 3 in a row between 2016 and
2018 when they were a properly competitive side.

Several months in and it seems the bulk of the fanbase have got
it exactly right about the clubs efforts

Only if we hang on to 8th place, which is looking dubious right
now.

On current trajectory’s 8th is probably the best we can hope
for.

Bath at home - very good first half against a misfiring team
only to be smashed in the second half. No real disgrace in that
as Bath are so damned good when they get the bit between the
teeth.
Tigers away - played well to get a healthy HT lead only to play
pathetically in the second half for a humiliating loss.
Sarries at home - excellent performance, great tactics
masterfully executed.
Exeter away - total humiliation.
Newcastle home - very good performance against a championship
side.
Gloucester away - total humiliation.
I think we're already too far into the season to turn this cack
around. Quins are far, far too fragile mentally and very easy to
play against.
