Bomb is definitely going, and sooner rather than later. You can
see how much it hurts him that Wales are doing so badly, and he
clearly wants to help turn that around. Whether he can have much
effect with the utter sh*tpile that is the WRU getting in the
way at every opportunity remains to be seen. But he will go, I'm
sure.

Neil Fissler saying Steve Diamond is being lined up, though he
doesn’t actually present evidence for this beyond Newcastle
maybe not wanting him and he might do a good job.

That article reads like Steve Diamond has told Fissler that he
would be interested in taking the Quins job and his
qualifications

I don’t like Diamond, but I do rate him as a coach and how he
showed up in the Worcester sh*t show gave me a new level of
respect for him.
His reputation as the Sam Allardyce of rugby is also unfair as
his teams can play some attractive rugby.
BUT - that doesn’t mean I have any interest in him coaching
Quins.

This could be the saving grace that stops Bomb going, at least
for now....we can only hope.

Absolutely not Diamond. I detest his attitude to player safety.
He can coach some good results, but he certainly sounds like he
thinks worries about head injuries are overrated. He's too
old-school for my liking, too. I don't see him getting a modern,
forward, fast-paced team going.

I rate Diamond and fear whenever we play his teams because he
projects his edge on them. And boy do we need a bit of niggle.
Not 💯 convinced he’s our guy but would have him over
others.
