It was a Sunday and she took a bite of Wafer. My guess is that
she’s a Catholic who hadn’t made it to Mass because of the game.

       Bad French
The FPRC, chaired by Brenda Heather-Latu (Samoa), joined by
Ofisa Tonu'u (New Zealand) and Valeriu Toma (Romania), reviewed
the cases and proposed a 12-match sanction for Berthoumieu and a
three-match sanction for Feleu (reduced to two on successful
completion of the Coaching Intervention Programme).
"Feleu has not accepted the proposed sanction from the FPRC and
her appeal will be heard by a disciplinary committee. In
relation to Berthoumieu, while the player accepted that the
action warranted a red card, the proposed length of the sanction
is being appealed and the matter will now be heard by a
       disciplinary committee.
"Both hearings are provisionally scheduled for Tuesday September
       16."

Two red card offences go unpunished on the pitch for France -
that's incredibly harsh on Ireland and a pretty poor reflection
on one or both of the TMO and the broadcast producers. Probably
the latter, given the quality of the coverage. Does anyone know
if they also cover the Top 14?

It is a company called HBS, they don't cover the top 14, but do
the Roland garros, French football league, La liga, etc

The COO is French, and while the corporation is based in
Switzerland, it lists its French office second.
I’m not usually a conspiracy theorist, but that’s just a teensy
       bit suspicious.

They have a good reputation and also do the football World Cup,
the live coverage is provided by Buzz 16 who do TNT rugby
coverage working as a sub contractor for HBS.

To be fair to the refereeing team, the foul play review body has
concluded that the bit couldn't have been picked up on the pitch
and that they needed additional evidence. Maybe with enough time
dedicated live to it, they might have found enough evidence, but
the referee was probably right not to stop the game for 10
minutes while everyone pored over every possible angle.
