       Gone to Newcastle
As an aside, the interviews I have heard him in, he seems to be
less interested in what sport he plays and more in where he can
       earn most cash

pick up on your point, FAF, 'but who are reliably good for the
team' how are we judging that? I would assume that we would want
more than 3 try involvements across a season, even if he had
lesser minutes, although his average minutes was 62 across the
season, due to Murley & Roddy's injuries. His tackle percentage
was higher than Tyrone's though, which was a shock but Tyrone
has dropped off that a bit last season. His Dominant tackles in
       the league was 4 (TG - 6, RI - 4 & CM - 9) so he isn't far
behind the norm, again with Murley as an outlier but Tyrone and
Roddy played less games so on a level playing field, he still
       feels short. No pun intended....

There's a limit to what you can get from stats. David has always
looked good when he's been playing. Admittedly within the
context that Quins have been shit overall the last season or so.

He joins Newcastle in December. He's playing for Wigan Warriors
on a one season deal. It looks like he's only getting offered
one year deals at the moment. That would explain why he's
       jumping around so much.

I can see why Wigan would look at a short contract - he was
unproven in League - and Newcastle seem to be offering lots of
       people one-year deals
       (www.newcastlefalcons.co.uk/newcastle-red-bulls-sign-back-three-trio
       www.newcastlefalcons.co.uk/italy-hooker-hame-faiva-heads-north).
Not sure what his contract at Gloucester was but he complained
when he left that the money wasn't there in Union.

Wade chasing the coin - can't say I blame him. He's nearing the
end of his career so good luck to him.
Nick David - quality runner with a beautifully balanced style.
Not the glorious try scorer that we'd love, but seems to
regularly make good yards and is a very reliable player to have
       in the squad.
