I wasn't expecting another tighthead, but this is a welcome
addition.
Tito simply hasn't been good enough, so I expect Delgado and
Williams to battle it out for the 3 shirt.

Credit where credit's due, looks another good signing. The pack
now looks like it'll be a force to be reckoned with this season.
We needed an upgrade on Titi that's for sure.
Now please sign a 12 and a FB/Wing then we'd have sufficient
depth.

Good signing, I’d say our front row we’ve signed this season is
better than our starting front row by end of last season. Maybe
Baxter aside but I’d be starting Turner and until this guy is
back Williams. Williams I think will be a better option starting
than as an impact player, I just hope he’s learnt how to scrum
properly as post the law changes he was pinged a lot

Our tight-five was poor last season and looked underpowered and
slow around the park. Petti, Treadwell, Wenger and now Delgado
add some beef and squad depth.
It's taken some time, but with these signings it looks like
Laurie and team have addressed the problem and we can give our
talented backline a decent platform to play from.
Really looking forward to seeing Petti in the quarters.

What scares people more at 12, still trying to shoe horn
Northmore in (not happy with that myself) or sticking with
Waghorn for the whole season with Hyde/Bradley/Kerr as backups?
Because, quite frankly, I'm happy with that.

Very happy to give Waghorn minutes as he’s been good when he’s
played, however he needs help and I don’t see any of the options
mentioned as sufficient unless something miraculous happened in
the summer. Delgado signing is a real bonus and I’d say he
pushes Titi down to 5th choice behind him, Williams, Kerrod and
Streeter. Just hope he’s not on much money. If Hobson is a TH,
might even put him down to 6th.

If Hyde or Bradley were going to make a real impact, we'd
probably have seen more of them in the first team by now. Kerr
may have leapfrogged them both?
I agree that Waghorn should be the starting 12. Realistically
he's too young to play every week and his minutes will be
managed, so rotation with Northmore and Kerr/Hyde/Bradley looks
inevitable.

Would play Waghorn as much as possible with Kerr as backup, only
using Northmore at 12 if unavoidable.
Let’s give Northmore at chance at 13, not overly convinced by
Hyde, little bit more so by Bradley.
With luck our forwards should be giving the backs more and
better ball to play with, we are probably not going to get a 12
now as we must be very close to the cap with the recent signings
and not convinced that we need another fullback or winger.

Northmore built his reputation at 13, not 12, and if we are all
honest with ourselves has never shone there.
I don't think any of the other options are really good enough to
be relied upon for any extended period as they are also
untested. We may struggle to bring someone in of a
starting/international quality but we do need an experienced
head there who can pass on a few tricks to Waghorn. Sods saw
says we will start him, and be out for the season first game. A
few other positions have that depth to cope by and large but we
would struggle.
