Such a shame - you almost managed to be gracious in defeat with
your first post but then just couldn't resist an arrogant swipe.
Unfortunately the Boks displayed similar arrogance thinking they
had it wrapped up after the 1st Quarter and stopped competing.
On reflection maybe the Lions performance wasn't so mediocre and
Australia are showing signs of a renaissance

My swipe wasn't aimed at the Australian performance, which I'm
full of praise for. Try harder.

Yep, they certainly did. The good thing is that they'll learn
from it. But it's not just about them. In the first half, some
of the Bok play reminded me of peak All Blacks. But in the
second half Aus were truly superb. Rather than focus on the
Boks, people should appreciate just how well Aus played.

Andre had a great game. Commentators describing him as a
"hybrid" player. I lost count of how many times he was ignored
when the ball was being passed down the line but maybe the idea
was that 2 oppo were watching for him and he was therefore
creating space?

Roddy cost them a try in defence, mind!
Odd game, some hopeless passing and surprising attacking
incompetence on display from both teams at times. NZ v SA should
be an excellent contest - NZ's pack did a great job at the set
piece and breakdown, but the backs were really vulnerable under
the high ball. Both sides will likely have areas of heavy
advantage.
