As soon as Marcus came on and they scored, I was waiting for the
Twitter comments that it was all his fault.
They didn't use Freeman at all, everything went left. Need to
vary the game plan and move the ball both ways. Lowe abject,
Keenan had a mixed game and the midfield non-existent in the 2nd
half. Forwards very good till substitutions. Strange performance
       in the 2nd half.
Felt for Lynagh, you know it'll be his fault in the Oz media.

A really poor Wallaby side. The Lions should've put 50 points on
       them.
Beirne showed his class, and Curry had a strong game too.
Schmidt desperately needs Valentini and Skelton back for the
next test, to try and give themselves some sort of go-forward
       and platform for their backs.

It's a three test series. Lions closed the playbook and started
to lift the foot off the gas after Sheehan went over to make it
24-5. No need to expose any more before test two against a side
that limited. Farrell actively keeping the powder dry.
Suspect he'll keep a lot of the same starters but change the
bench so that there's more impact later in the game. Would
expect Marcus to keep his place to cover 10 and 15.

Lynagh had no good ball, and very little poor ball.
There problems were in front of him.

The great god of rugby David Campese has already blamed Joe
Schmidt for the result, Lynagh was an odd choice to start given
       his lack of experience.
Lowe seems to be very hesitant compared to a year ago and Keenan
is a disaster waiting to happen at fullback.
Australia are not going to get enough ball to ever realistically
       threaten the Lions.

Well, he can call himself a lion, and he didn't throw an
intercept. About as much as one can say.
Guess in another set of circumstances he might have looked for
the gap before he shipped on when it went left, and if Itoje
hadn't fumbled he might have set up a try at the death, but
       there we are.

Was he not a lion after 2021?

       OK. A test lion.

I thought Marcus looked good when he came on, had nice shape in
attack and put people into space with a nice delayed pass a
couple of times. Also made a pretty crucial defensive
intervention diving on a loose ball from a dropped box kick.
Nothing outstanding but he didn’t really have enough ball to do
       any more.

Also made a crucial tackle about 7m from the line after Keenan
       and Aki had both missed
