The lions coach bit? Yeah, i think it's rubbish that current or
recently retired national coaches with an obvious natural bias
should be in charge.
The national coach 2 years thing... Maybe not totally serious.

That’s my point. And the England head coach is still the same
guy.
They’re both also the same coaches we had last summer and in the
autumn when everyone seemed quite happy with how we played -
except we lost.

Who’d be your Lions coach then?
Nobody currently involved in B&I rugby.
It’s unlikely to be anyone currently coaching outside B&I as
they need to be available for at least 6 months.
Given the furore around the Celtic project players becoming
Lions, I can’t see it being somebody who’s never had any contact
with B&I rugby.
Gatland?

That's just ruck saying that, though? I've not seen any actual
journalists saying it or any information from the Lions camp.
It's just as likely that he's in charge of their kicking game

the overall strategy and performance of the team.
John Dalziel (Forwards Coach):
Dalziel will focus on the forwards, coaching aspects like
scrums, lineouts, and rucking.
Simon Easterby (Defence Coach):
Easterby will be in charge of the defensive strategies and
tactics of the team.
John Fogarty (Scrum Coach):
Fogarty will specifically focus on the scrummaging techniques
and strategies.
Andrew Goodman (Backs Coach):
Goodman will be responsible for coaching the backs, focusing on
their attacking play and skills.
Richard Wigglesworth (Attack Coach):
Wigglesworth will concentrate on developing the attacking
strategies and skills of the team
