In a nutshell, yeah, I think you've nailed it. I haven't seen
anything in England's play up until Argentina that says
Wigglesworth has an attacking gameplay to suit Marcus.
Would love to be wrong, of course.

But he’s in charge of the Lions attack. Which apparently suits
Marcus. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think Marcus should be the next head coach of the Lions and be
the nailed on 10 as well.

He's not deciding how they should be playing. Otherwise the
Lions would be playing the style of rugby he prefers.
The style is how Ireland play. Wigglesworth is one of several
assistant coaches that include Sexton (the man who defined the
Irish style as much as anyone) and Goodman (the current Ireland
backs coach).
For Leicester and England, Wigglesworth had a very clear
preference for a style of play completely at odds with the
Lions. I very much doubt he's running the show as the attack
coach but if he is, good on him for being able to replicate the
Ireland attacking plan so well. Though I would then wonder what
the Irish coaches are doing instead.

Anyway the real problem with the Lions is that they used to be
about getting a bunch of very different people together in a
very unfamiliar environment to go on a gruelling tour in a
country that despises them while usually being extremely
outclassed on paper. These days it's very different, it's
primarily a huge money spinner, world rugby is so competitive
that the expectation is the Lions should be one of the strongest
teams in the world by default, the tour is much shorter, the pre
Test opposition are usually walkovers unless the Lions are truly
dreadful, the players all know each other really well already
and play huge amounts of rugby every year, and the fans are no
longer supporting a bunch of underdogs.
It exists now because it makes a ton of money for the host
country and vested interests. I'd rather watch a Lions tour
drawn from uncapped players at this point, though that would
never happen.

I would prefer Blackett as England attack coach, the style in
Argentina is different to the Wigglesworth style for England.
But England have different players and our forwards have
dominated the centres have played on the front foot, and Spencer
has moved the ball quickly from 9.
If wigglesworth returns and we play in the same way as we are in
Argentina, no problem, but if we just kick and chase constantly
we are not moving forward, we did play well against Wales, but
it took us a while to realise they were truly awful and play
more progressively.
Attack coaches get told how to implement the head coaches
strategy, and Wigglesworth has shown this with his different
styles for England and the Lions.

Do we know for a fact that he's in charge of the attack for the
Lions? I did some googling and it's unclear to me.

Rugby Australia is pretty much saying that the Lions tour will
lift them out of debt, so the Lions tour is a cash cow.
Their problems are very similar to the Welsh though, other
sports being more popular, Rugby league and Australian rules,
taking crowds and television revenue, players being poached to
play in France as teens, and being a weak team.
So they may get some temporary relief but long term things look
worrying, also if the LIons hammer them, the Australian public
will not be impressed.
The southern hemisphere teams all face serious problems, NZ is
in the worst recession since the 90’s and 130000 people
permanently left the country last year, out of a 5.3 million
population.
South Africa is being listed as a failed state and has huge
social and economic problems, and infrastructure problems with
power and water, a rapidly rising population and emigration.
The Lions on a financial level are very important for all of
them, which is why I don’t think they they will be touring
anywhere but the usual places.

Richard Wigglesworth, the attack coach of the British & Irish
Lions, has responded to a comment made by Australia head coach
Joe Schmidt, ahead of the upcoming Summer tour. The comment in
question was when Schmidt call the Lions midfield pairing of
Bundee Aki and Sione Tuipulotu a ‘Southern Hemisphere centre
partnership’, ahead of the upcoming Test between the Lions and
Argentina.
Seems to be.
